Broken!

Last night, David was scheduled to play in 3 different softball games... two with his men's league, and one in our Brentwood league.

David's first game went well...and in the 1st inning of the second game, he made an outstanding diving catch.  Scarily, he didn't stand up right away and his left arm started swelling almost immediately.

After a few minutes, I managed to convince him to go to the urgent car.  Turns out, David broke his wrist.

That awesome diving catch... probably not worth it.

They gave him a splint and sent us home... the doctor thought that he would probably swell quite a bit more and didn't want to cast it right away.

So... we get to go back tomorrow to get a cast.  

I hope he lets me be the first to sign his cast!!
