Beer Bread

Now that the weather is cooling off, I'm excited to do a bit more baking.  Last night I busted out one of my favorite bread recipes, beer bread.

This recipe is courtesy my mother-in-law, Debra.

1 can beer, room temperature
3 cups self-rising flour
1/3 cup sugar

Mix ingredients together and pour into greased and floured loaf dish.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.  Remove from oven, pour 1/2 to 1 stick of melted butter on top.  Bake for 15 more minutes.

Done and done!
