I love QuikTrip. I think that's the cleanest, happiest gas station in the land. I will occasionally stop on my way to work for a soda since there are tons of locations and you could get a 32 oz soda for $0.59... $0.61 after tax.
Sadly, horribly, I stopped this morning and discovered that the 32 oz sodas are now $0.69!
What?!??!?!?!?!?! This throws off my whole system. Now I might as well stop at Circle K where you can get any size soda for $0.69.
I am disheartened, QuikTrip.
I love that this is your sad news. I get bummed about things like this, too. Asher would roll his eyes about 8 cents.
